Bobby Irons was the coach of the Charleston Chiefs, the team Nathan Scott played on while trying to make it to the NBA. He initially offered Nathan a coaching position but allowed him to play after he trialed with the team and Nathan proved his worth as a player. After months of coaching Nathan, he eventually revealed that his player had been drafted to the NBA as he became one of the Charlotte Bobcats. Bobby is the first coach ever of the Chiefs history to help two of his players to go in NBA,Nathan Scott and Nino Jones
