"The Killing Moon" is the fifth episode of the ninth and final season of One Tree Hill, and the 179th produced in the series. It was broadcast on February 8, 2012. Nathan is missing and Haley fears the worst - As Quinn distracts Jamie, Haley searches for Nathan. Clay finally gets answers about his condition. Meanwhile, Julian attempts to get back to a normal life, while Brooke tries to give Tara a chance.

Synopsis[]

Julian continues to struggle with guilt after forgetting Davis in the car. Brooke is still furious at Tara, who gives her a cockroach infested plant and leaving a hurtful note for Julian. Brooke trashes Tara's cafe. Haley struggles to find Nathan, going everywhere around town in search for him. It was found out that the destruction of Dan's diner wasn't accidental, as he did it himself. Haley realizes this and her trust in Dan slowly fades. She calls 911 at the end of the episode, saying there is a murderer in her house. Clay seems to not respond well to treatments, since he doesn't remember anything. He meets a young boy named Logan in the facility and has a connection with him throught flying airplanes. Jamie and Lydia stay with Quinn while Haley searches for Nathan.
